General Topics Forum ?

Howdy again.  Looks like this site is in the set-up stages.  That's great.

May I suggest a forum called something like "General Topics" ?  Someplace I could ask questions about the SCCA DC Region general topics, like, how do I register, and is it necesaary to do so before signing up for an event or class.  Thanks.  John

Yeah, that would be pretty good to have even maybe a sticky thread with answers to questions like that.  I've read as much as I can find on the site and I still have "noob" questions like, do I get to pick my own number?

Good ideas, Rather than having informtion here in the forums I think a FAQ section in the solo area might make more sense???

and as for numbers, assuming someone in your class has not taken it already you can pick your own number during registration. Numbers 1-99 are for single driver cars and 101-199 are for the second driver in a car already entered. Please be aware that there are rules about the size/font for numbers and letters as they appear on the car. See the Solo supplementals for more information:

thx

Ian
