I'm a student at Georgia Tech but I'm originally from DC. I realize that this thread is a little off topic, but I didn't know where else to turn. Atlanta has several large car forums - ranging from model specific forums like 240Atlanta and WRXAtlanta to really general forums like Import Atlanta - that allow car guys (and girls) to chat about whatever and arrange car meets for people to meet up in person and hang out with their cars. I was wondering if the DC area had any big car forums similar to these? I searched on Google, but was unsuccessful. I figured that the people in the SCCA would be knowledgable car guys and would be willing to help me out. Do you guys know of any car forums in the area or any routine car-guy meets?
I lve here in DC. I used to have a camaro SS, and I hung out at http://easternfbody.com/forum/index.php?s. It's a good group and they do local stuff here in DC/VA/MD
Hello in Columbia ,MD saturdays by RT 198 have heard of imprompt meets in parking lot..They just show up with all kinds of cars trucks, like a vega with V-8in it ect! Angelo
