Does anyone know if Summit Point will be repaired before the next event?
last i heard was that it was "repaired" with more sealer...which was in turn pulling up more chucks of asphalt . this was as of last week.
in other words...no change.
As of this weekends Kart race turns 1 5 and 6/7 racing lines were coned off and not used
no repairs as of Sunday 5:00 pm
Hi this has been a problen over the years at the track each time its been repaved. I hope they get it fixed soon.I saw it do same thing years ago with IMSA racing there. Not easy to repave over the old stuff,with truns being the hardest.It has to be preped right once paved needs time to cure as well. Sprman55
rumor i heard yesterday was that there should be pavers working today to resurface all the bad parts. only karts and motorcycles on track for next two weeks, so it should have a "little" time to cure before labor day.
can anyone confirm?
