It won't help us here any. They usually have like 100 cars TOTAL for a weekend like that. We'd max out the maximum car counts on Summit Point trying to do that. We get over 200 cars for the MARRS (used to be over 300) and 100 plus for our National.
I also heard about the pilot program and think it is a GREAT idea.
For the record we had 179 total entries for MARRS 4.
It is an interesting concept and it is being tested out West. Not real sure just what their program is and what they are "Testing" but it is a good idea. Unfortunately I don't know enough about just what they are trying to really comment any more than to say I really like the idea. But with the existing rules it would be really difficult to do here in DC Region.
The entry count I heard Sunday was 204 cars, not sure how that compairs to how many actually started Sunday's races.
