| | "Marlboro Reunion II" Location finalized... - Sunday, March 16, 2008The location for the July 13th, 2008 Reunion will be Frederick County (MD) "Ostertag Vistas" off of Route 40 (Old Baltimore National Pike). The time will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Chairman Steve Lloyd is negotiating now with the caterer, and the final registration details should be available in a few weeks. Ostertag Vistas is a restored early 18th century Dutch/German farm. It is over 150 acres, featuring original structures, two museums, and is a popular site for weddings, conferences and retreats. | | Show off your racing or sports car! - Sunday, March 16, 2008On July 12th, 2008, as part 1 of the "Marlboro Reunion," The Region is offering a vintage/competition/sports car show for the public at Surreybrooke Gardens in Middletown, MD. There is no entry fee -- just come with a picnic lunch and your competition/vintage/sports car -- and show it off to other fans and the public. This is slated for 10 a.m. through 4 p.m. We're trying to encourage cars from the 50s and 60s (typical of the Marlboro era) but this isn't a concours d'elegance or competitive event, so we're pretty liberal with entries.
