Welcome to the first event of the 2011 season for the Washington DC Region Solo program. This is our annual practice event. It's run just like a normal event, giving every competitor 4 runs, but is just not part of our championship series. It provides an opportunity for us to shake the cobwebs off our equipment, and you to do the same to both yourself and your car before we get underway with the season championship.

Be aware that this event is members only, meaning weekend memberships will not be accepted. You can sign up with scca and just bring a printed out confirmation code along with your new member number with you to the event if you don't have your new cards yet. You can get your member number by calling the SCCA at 800-770-2055 and ask for membership. Our region is WDC (042).

General registration will open the Sunday before the event at 8 PM Eastern Time. Registration closes on the Friday before the event at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.

As a side note for anyone new to our events, we call the afternoon run groups 4 and 5, even though to the trained eye they might be called 3 and 4.

We do this because at some events there are three morning heats and three afternoon heats. The morning are always 1, 2, and 3. The afternoon are always 4, 5, and 6. When we reduce to two run groups in the morning and afternoon, we don't change the names of the run groups.

NEW for the season!! WDCR will offer FUN RUNS at the conclusion of each event for competitors already in attendance. For an extra $25, you will get another 4 runs. Registration will be onsite at the event. Limited availability by event.
