| | Next to its people, the DC Region’s greatest asset is its range of programs. We have solo and racing programs which are large and successful enough to be the envy of most regions. We have growing RallyCross and Performance Driving Experience (PDX) programs which are becoming models of success for much of the rest of SCCA. We have a rally program which, while small, has been growing and recognized with national awards. It’s the kind of thing that makes me proud to be a member of the DC Region.
But underneath this runs a disquieting undercurrent that bothers me. | | |

| THE DC REGION SIGNS WITH THE BALTIMORE GRAND PRIX! | |

| | The DC Region has signed an agreement with the Baltimore Grand Prix to support the Labor Day pro street races in Baltimore. The Region will manage the flagging and communications for the event under the direction of our own Dave Hsu, who’s equally experienced at both club racing and pro events. The Region will also have a hospitality area which will serve as a central meeting place for Region members and prospective members. | | |
