2012 Event Pricing

Newsflash! We've been approved to run Level 2 "Club Trials" events on Summit Point Main - this means that the events will be open to more participants. Please consult the Supps and the TT Rules for more information on the requirements to participate in a Club Trial.

For 2012, we have four events planned. All events will be a combined PDX and Club Trials format (Club Trials will be run as a separate run-group during the day, alternating with the PDX run groups). All events for 2012 will be held at Summit Point Motorsports Park, Summit Point, WV.

March 10-11: Summit Point Main
June 23 - Shenandoah Circuit
August 04 - Shenandoah Circuit
September 15-16 - Summit Point Main

Pricing for PDX events on Summit Point Main is $275 per-day, or both days for $375.

Club Trials entry on Summit Point main is $210 per day, or both days for $325.

Pricing for PDX events on the Shenandoah Circuit is $250 per day.
Club Trials entry on Shenandoah is $210 per day.

Note that unlike previous years, we expect to run the same schedule on both Saturday and Sunday, so there is no longer a price difference.

PDX Gift Certificates Now Available!

The PDX/Time Trials Committee and WDCR are pleased to continue the PDX Gift Certificate program!

Purchase a gift certificate for your spouse, family member, friend or anyone who would enjoy the experience of driving on-track! The PDX program is tailored to each participant and their driving level, so no matter if it's for a first timer or an experienced driver the instruction and driving will be suited to the individual.

Shenandoah Circuit PDX gift certificates cost $250 each and are good for one day of PDX* in 2012.

Summit Point Main Circuit PDX gift certificates cost $275 each and are good for one day of PDX* in 2012.

Please note that all PDX, Track & Trial events open for on-line registration approx. 5 weeks prior to the event. The close for registration is the Monday prior to the event at midnight EST. Late registrations will not be accepted.

Car Numbers

A note from Registration:

We have tried very hard over the past 4 years to assign and supply numbers for our participants, and this year, we have found that the cost of printing, and the time stuffing envelopes has become very prohibitive. Our sister organizations, Club Racing, Rally Cross, and Solo all require participants to select and supply their own numbers.

So, we have taken a page out of their books and are now REQUIRING our participants to select a number in DLB and provide a legible number on the car. These may be magnetics (provided that they are able to stay on the car at speeds exceeding 75 mph), vinyl, contrasting painters tape (For example, do not use blue tape on a blue or black car, it isn't legible), or printed numbers that will be taped to the car.

Car numbers should be at least 8 inches high and 1 inch wide., the bigger, and the more space makes them more legible to our corner workers. To test, put your numbers on your car and walk back 50 feet. If your numbers are still legible then you are good to go!

On-track Insurance

The WDCR PDX Program is proud to announce that our July event has been approved by Lockton Affinity/Lockton Motorsports for their HPDE Insurance Program. If you're worried about the financial impact of having an "oops" during an on-track session, check them out. Rates seem to be reasonable. Please note that this is program is solely offered by Lockton, not SCCA or the DC Region. We do intend to make sure that the rest of our programs are also elegible for their coverage as well. Note also that our understanding is that this coverage is ONLY for the PDX sessions, not the Club Trials/Time Trials sessions.
