Ever wanted to get closer to sportscar racing but can't quite afford the cost of racing a car?  The D.C. Region is holding its annual Novice Flagging and Communications (F&C) School March 18-19, 2017, in conjunction with the Region's Competition Drivers School.  Learn how to work a corner station, what the flags mean, how to communicate to drivers what hazards may lie ahead of them and much more.

The F&C school consists of both classroom and trackside training.  It begins Saturday morning (arrive by 8am) March 18th at Summit Point Motorsports Park.  No admission to get into the park, and you do not need to be a member to attend school.

If working a corner may not be of interest to you, you might want to volunteer for other specialties on a race weekend.  These specialties include Timing and Scoring, Pit, Grid, Emergency Services, Registration, and many more.

For more information on how to get close to the action, go to:

To register for the Flagging and Communications school, please send an email to mdsn2pics2@comcast.net .   You will be contacted with additional info.

See you at the track!
