SCCA Turns 80!
/We're celebrating 80 years of SCCA history! It all started in 1944 when seven enthusiasts gathered to establish the groundwork of what would become the SCCA.
Did you know the Washington DC Region is the Club's oldest region? Here's the intriguing part... While WDCR recently celebrated its 75th anniversary, it's noteworthy that when SCCA was founded in 1944, there wasn't a concept of regions. Four years later, the Washington DC Region was established as the first region, and WDCR was subsequently recognized as the inaugural region within SCCA.
